Is there a charge for the photos taken as part of the cruise?
No, our team of photographers and/or expedition leaders take all these pictures free of charge.
May I receive only my pictures and my family’s?
At this time, that is not possible. You will get the best pictures that were taken on the cruise and those of all the other guests that visited the Galapagos with you.
How long does it take for the photos to arrive by email?
You will receive your expedition photos in two weeks. You will first need to fill out a form, as our team will not send them to you unless they are requested.
Do the pictures come with a watermark?
No, all of our expedition photos are “clean” and don’t come with frames or watermarks.
Can I use these photos for commercial purposes?
No, every picture you receive of your Galapagos tour with Metrojourneys is for personal use only and cannot be distributed, sold or commercialized in any way.
May I use these photos for my personal blog?
Yes, you may use your expedition photos for your personal blog if people you know (family or friends) appear in them.
How do I receive my pictures?
We work with the platform WeTransfer, you will receive an email from them with the subject: “Galapagos Expedition Photos from Metrojourneys”.
Will the pictures be in high resolution?
All the pictures we send are in high resolution (300 dpi), which will result in quality pictures should you choose to print them.
If I’m creating my photo album and I need a cover for it or I want my itinerary map, may I request it?
Yes, when you fill out the form, there is a spot where you may request help with creating your album. Our team of designers will help with whatever you need for your album free of charge. Please, be aware that this process takes 72 hours after we have spoken with you and arranged this based on your requirements.
May I buy an album and receive it at home?
At the moment, we don’t have an album delivery service.
How long does Metrojourneys keep the Galapagos expedition photos?
All expedition photos and videos are saved for up to a year, after that period, we cannot guarantee the ability to send you your pictures.
