Full-day Activity Option #1 – HIGHLANDS: GIANT TORTOISES, LAVA TUNNELS & LUNCH (GUIDED)

Enjoy the gentle Giant Galapagos Tortoises as slowly make their way through the dense foliage and bush of the highlands of Santa Cruz. The area is teeming with life and spectacular lava tunnels.

Full-day Activity Option #2 – TORTUGA BAY, CHARLES DARWIN RESEARCH STATION & LUNCH (GUIDED)

The stunning, white sand beach of Tortuga Bay is considered by many to be the most beautiful stretch of coast in the Galapagos archipelago. The Research Station is an interpretation center open to the public where you may also view their tortoise breeding program as well as giant tortoises in captivity.

Island Yacht Exploration Options

Finch Bay Complete: Island Exploration

North Seymour

Experience a live biology lesson with land and marine iguanas, Nazca- and blue-footed boobies, frigates, sea lions and fur seals.

Santa Fe

Walk along rocky terrain to find the island’s highlight: the endemic Santa Fe land iguana, patiently waiting under the enormous and giant cacti for falling fruits and pads.

Bartolome

Here, you will get to enjoy one of the Galapagos’ most famous views: the tilted Pinnacle Rock, the golden beach of Bartolome and the impressive lava fields of Santiago Island.

South Plaza

Admire the vast volume of dozens of frolicking sea lion pups, patrolling alpha male sea lions, basking marine and land iguanas, stunning red crabs and various Darwin finches.

Santa Cruz Coastal Exploration + Charles Darwin Research Station and Tortoise Breeding Facilities

  • Upgrades to Finch Bay Suite are available for an additional fee of $500 per person, per program.
  • The island visited on the day tour will depend on the itinerary approved by the Galapagos National Park Service.

Stayed with my wife at Finch Bay for 4 nights as part of a Gate 1 tour of Ecuador and we could not have been happier! This hotel is absolutely wonderful. Rooms while a bit small were more than comfortable, we had one of the OV suites and it was great. the food is outstanding, they do an excellent job and there is plenty. Finally the staff, Cesar went so far above and beyond to make our 10-year anniversary a memorable one, I’m not sure we will ever top it! Want to give a huge shout out to the entire staff, but Cesar especially, THANK YOU.
